The Boornazian / Fadini Group is a modern jazz quintet rooted in New York, co-led by Italian-born pianist Alessandro Fadini and American saxophonist Josiah Boornazian.
Building on over a decade of collaboration, the group bridges aggressive post-bop improvisation with contemporary electro-acoustic sensibilities. This 2027 tour supports their new album Future Butterfly, recorded for Westmoon Records and awaiting release, and presents material from their extensive catalogue reimagined for the current lineup.

Alessandro Fadini
Pianist and composer who spent over a decade in the New York jazz scene under the mentorship of Marc Copland and Ray Anderson. Currently Assistant Professor of Music Performance at Texas A&M University, where his research focuses on immersive pedagogy and the intersection of acoustic and digital sound.
Josiah Boornazian
Yamaha Performing Artist and Director of Jazz Studies at the University of Utah. A Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of Miami, Boornazian is recognized as an inventive composer and a torrid post-bop player who seamlessly integrates electronic music under his alias "tymebrayker".
