Shared history.

Aleks Fadini and Josiah Boornazian performing live
Fig. 01: Fadini (piano) & Boornazian (alto), live New York

Fadini and Boornazian first developed their collaboration in New York. Their recordings together include A Dark and Stormy Day and the jointly led Simply Begin Again on Fresh Sound New Talent, followed by the duo album Conversazioni on Elegant Noise Records.

Their music moves between written themes and open improvisation, with acoustic interplay and live electronic processing. The quartet brings that repertoire together with an acoustic bassist and Jesse Simpson, with whom Fadini recorded the trio session Peace EP. Future Butterfly, recorded for Westmoon Records, is awaiting release.
